It has been observed that Job helps a lot in the Rehabilitation of an individual and Cadabams has created Jobs so that Residents feel good to work and feel dignified as they show dynamic progress in their behaviour. The real life situations with full monitoring is what Cadabam's look for.
"Neeraja" - A dynamic and unique concept towards Rehabilitation of our residents
Realising the difficulty in finding placements, it was thought desirable to subject these Rehabilitated Residents to a self-confidence building process and also expose them to such avocations which in course of time make them self employable.
With this objective Cadabam's embarked on this new project "Neeraja" which would bring out their eclipsed talents, business acumen, vocational skill to the fore, like a Lotus blooming out of waters.
Under this the family & Resident will be helped to associate in a business or Industrial venture where the Resident will be employed. The venture will be identified by Cadabam's & it will be a period of Apprenticeship. He will reside in Cadabam's campus only & it will be a part of Psycho social therapy.
This scheme it is hoped will help in building up the required self confidence & in course of time help the resident to move back to family, integrate with society, & find his own occupation or avocation to be gainfully employed.

We are happy, a small beginning has been made in this direction, with the opening of "Neeraja - your choice - Gift & Novelties & Neeraja - your choice - Food needs" a Grocery store in one of the prime Residential areas of the city. About 8 Residents, with the support of their families are working in this "Neeraja" city outlet.

Additionally we have 8 more residents engaged after the opening of four shops adjacent to the existing Cadabam'S campus since January 2005. "Neeraja Foods & Beverages" shop, STD/ISD PCO, Hotel and Medical Store are open with wide employment facility for Job opportunities. Those who can go for purchases are also sent for purchasing for the shops. They arrange the shops, attend to the customers and do the billing themselves.
